In this 21st century, a literate, is one who unlearns, learn and re-learn, and, acquiring relevant tech skills for navigating through problem solving in Arts, science and Engineering is at the centre of the essence of getting educated in this era. Over the past 4 weeks, I have acquired data presentation and analytic skill with the use of Excel from Jasper-Hub, this made me more detailed and analytical in my Professional Research and Business Presentation for especially for management purposes. I am indeed grateful for the opportunity to learn and be mentored by Jasper SME Hub

I had an interview for an accounting role. The job description was basically accounting and I didn't really have the experience but I needed a job role in finance to aid my career growth in finance and investment. I had to convince them using my passsion for learning and skills I had acquired in recent months. Thank God I joined the Jasper November Cohort, one of the interviewers was particularly interested in my Excel skill, he saked if I knew Vlookup and Macros. Thank God for Vlookup. I believe part of what made me get the role was a passion for learning and the training from JasperSMEHub.

During the course of our training, I learnt different functions on the worksheet and their applications with varying scenarios. In addition to that, we were each attached to one class buddy, which made working on projects and assignments very fun with encouraging outcomes. Worthy of mention is how Mr Emmanuel singled out every student and ensured that everyone fully understood each lesson taught. He went as far as organising extra classes, to ensure that no one was left out. Also, the community of people with same interests (all in the Jasper SME hub), made this training all the more worthwhile!

I was adept in the usage of a few analytics tools, but I had no idea that Microsoft Excel had such a wonderful universe of possibilities in analytics and visualisation until Jasper introduced me to Data Analytics in Excel. At first, I had a lot of reservations, but now I honestly do not have the words to describe how incredible the experience was for me. I was trained on the complex features of Microsoft Excel and was given an overview of data analysis and data visualization. I was tasked with developing an interactive dashboard that would monitor the sales performance of a certain company based on a variety of metrics. My journey up to this point has been filled with so much excitement, and I am looking forward to the incredible possibility that lies ahead of me in the digital environment.

I'm excited to share that I just finished training in data analysis in Excel with Jasper SME Hub! This training has given me the skills and knowledge I need to use Excel to analyze data, create reports, and develop solutions that drive business results. In my training, I learned how to: - identify trends and patterns in data - Create complex reports and dashboards that are easy to understand and actionable - Provide insights and recommendations to help improve business processes. I'm confident that this training has prepared me for a career in data analysis.

I am excited to share my journey in data analysis with you. I joined Jasper as my learning partner. I am now proficient in using Excel to perform basic and intermediate data analysis. And I am able to communicate the insights from the data to stakeholders in a clear and concise way. I created a Monthly Sales dashboard using Excel to visualize the sales data given to my by Jasper as part of my project. The dashboard shows the monthly trend, sales by sale's person, top selling item, revenue by item & sales by region. I also have the Icons, timeline & slicer making the dashboard interactive. The dashboard is a great way to track the performance of the sales and make informed decisions about my business.
